Face-Off #OOTD organized by Inquirer Lifestyle and LOOKBook at the Shang-ri La Plaza Mall last week was definitely one of the most enjoyable, anticipated fashion shows of the year. It featured the couture heavyweights back to back with upcoming designers and gave us a preview of where Philippine fashion is headed. Verdict: it’s all looking good!
Anyway, we enjoyed the show because of its casual, easygoing tone. We can actually imagine wearing the outfits on a broad range of occasions. Thanks to prime sponsor Converse Philippines who gave the crowd lots of ideas on the countless chic ways you can wear those iconic Converse sneakers. Gone are the days when you can just wear your sneaks with jeans, shorts and simple skirts. All it takes is a little more imagination to level up your Converse. And you can certainly get more OOTD ideas in the website Nicer Shoes.
Have a look….
The event was hosted by Ms. Tessa Prieto who wore a fetching Cary Santiago gown. Bb. Pilipinas 2016 Maxine Medina also walked the runway wearing an Rhett Eala.
Old name designers collaborated with the so-called millennial designers to make this year’s Face-Off #OOTD show a success. Aside from Eala and Santiago, the names included Randy Ortiz, Rajo Laurel, JC Buendia, Mike de la Rosa, Efren Ocampo, Vic Barba, Pablo Cabahug, Albert Andrada, Ito Curata, Lulu Tan-Gan, Arcy Gayatin, Jun Escario, Edwin Ao, Oj Hofer, Philip Rodriguez, Michael Leyva, Vania Romoff, Mark Bumgarner, and Jerome And, to name just a few.
