As a blogger, am lucky enough to be a recipient of home deliveries - from fried chicken to J.Co Donuts and even household products. There are rare times, however, when the courier comes in full costume. I remember one time when my youngest daughter Lucia got scared of Incredible Hulk.A few weeks ago, there was a tall & pretty girl in Swiss costume who arrived at the gate carrying a wooden bucket.I was unfortunately in the office. Home alone (again) were Lucia and her yaya-since-birth. (photo courtesy of Bright Idea Events Management) Our perky toddler ... Continue Reading...
Celebrity moms on fighting stains with Breeze
Celebrity moms Dawn Zulueta, Carmina Villaroel, Sen. Pia Cayetano and Tessa Prieto-Valdez are the latest endorsers of the new Breeze with ActivBleach. But I have to say this Crumpler Ultimate Exit - which looks like a gym bag, more than anything else - is close to my heart. I lugged around thing in my mountain trip to Sagada last December and felt the unbearable lightness .... of travelling :) Blame it on the fact that this bag is only made of the lightest materials. I have to say though that the Ultimate Exit's outer appearance is an eyecatcher too. The light blue piping on the dark blue main body is quite ... Continue Reading...
Review: Crumpler Vegetable From Inside the Mountain
Zoom in! That's moi with my favorite travelling backpack at the moment, the Crumpler Vegetable From Inside the Mountain. I don't know why some Crumpler bags have these really long names but I've used this label long enough to appreciate the quality and thoughtfulness that goes with each product. In the case of this bag in review, I really like it for its use of light materials which doesn't make carrying it a big burden. This is the front view of the bag with all three components. There's a sizeable pouch for holding shoes , shirts or whatever you like and a small ... Continue Reading...
