It is so nice to be writing this blog from Boracay and being able to announce to my readership that I am now enjoying the good life in this little piece of island paradise south of the Philippines.And so....the definitive statement is: am a Bora virgin... no more! An Enchanted Day
Me & the twins at Bleeker St. Photography, EK .Last Sunday, I brought the kids to Enchanted Kingdom which is the Philippines own mini-version of Disneyland (minus Mickey & the gang).My best friend couldn't believe that I didn't bring the nanny along. But I was in the Extra Challenge mode. Nannies are sometimes a burden because you have pay extra for the entrance (and at Enchanted, this was not cheap). The Fontana of our Youth

Before the heavy rains lashed Manila, I was fortunate enough to take the kids out to Fontana Leisure Parks and Casino in Pampanga's Clark Special Economic Zone. It was a sunny Sunday and there was hardly any traffic on the much-improved North Expressway. Our trip thus took only one and a half hours.As I found out, you shouldn't go to Fontana if your idea of adventure is plunging the depths of Tubbataha Reef. London Postscript
Reading Da Vinci did bring me back to the time when I visited London with Maria L. in the spring of '96. The pic shows me outside Westminster Abbey whose grand structure was unfortunately not captured by our amateur cams. In the words of Dan Brown, the Abbey is "neither cathedral nor parish church." It is here where the remains of kings, statesmen, scientists, poets and musicians are entombed, including Elizabeth I.
