DSC00244. We received the worst service in recent history in this resto but that's getting ahead of the story. :P Imagine my excitement when I saw the facade of New Orleans Restaurant while strolling down Bonifacio High Street. This resto was my favorite "date place" in the 1990s back when it was still in the old Greenbelt. I also remember it for its finger-lickin' ribs long before fastfood outlets like Kenny Rogers included it in their menu. I simply had to dine in New Orleans on my recent birthday. The resto is now a part of the Red Crab group and ... Continue Reading...
How do you Yakiniku? Let us count the ways at the Yurakuen resto

Laksa is a popular soup in Malaysia and Singapore made of flat hofan noodles. The creaminess of the coconut milk combines with the ... Continue Reading...

Lord Stow's cafe. One of the reasons I went to Macau was to indulge in a food trip. But I believe I did more walking and seeing the sights than e-a-t, especially after busting what little budget I had on shopping in Zhuhai. I suppose there is now an exciting food scene in Macau because of the casinos and the arrival of different cultures there. But the old reliables of Portuguese and Macanese cuisine are still there and what you're bound to see is a country that delights in its food, especially sweets and pastries. Any visitor to Macau would have to ... Continue Reading...
Sugarnot has a blog…. and the healthiest treats too!
In my last column, I did say how nice it would be if local companies included some cool blogging in their websites. Just to remind us that there some human where those neat HTML codes are. To paraphrase again: " Corporate blogging can give companies direct access to their customers, generate genuine feedback and give the business a human face, thus generating trust from its consumers." In the course of my net-surfing, guess what I found but the hip website of sugar-free resto Sugarnot with some one-of-a-kind blogging by : a doctor, a physical therapist, a ... Continue Reading...
