Blog-o-Rama update

April 11, 2005 ·

Who says blogging is only for the young? If there's anything that impresses me about this field we're in, it is finding out that the "oldies" are very much alive here too. Their presence only shows how diverse the demographics of the blogosphere could be and the fact that blogging is not limited to a particular lifestyle or age group proves that blogging is here to stay. For this week's Blog-O-Rama, I wrote about a doting father named Tatang Rome and Luchie G, a loving grandma who are blogging away and loving every minute of it. Get to know these baby boomers who ... Blog-o-Rama update

April 4, 2005 ·

How do you stand out in a field of commonplace blogs? Embark on a topical weblog and write about your field of expertise. How Blogging Started in RP

March 31, 2005 ·

Drats. This week has been a horrible tsunami that I forgot to mention my Blog-O-Rama article has been online since Monday. And the clincher is that the first person to have blogged in this country was a ... Continue Reading...

My New Career: Blog Columnist

March 15, 2005 ·

Like any newbie who has blogged for less than a year or so, I don't pretend to be the most knowledgeable person in web publishing. As the saying goes in Tagalog: "Marami pa akong kakaining bigas." But that hasn't stopped me from being engrossed with what I consider to be one of the most amazing revolutions ever: the phenomenal growth of our blogosphere. This led me to propose to an editor of my former newspaper: "how about a section on blogs and Filipino bloggers?" The idea was just as soon approved and yesterday, my maiden article came out. I am happy yet sad that all ... Continue Reading...
