According to my Control Panel, this is my 25oth post since starting a blog in the third quarter of 2004. Yay! It feels like such a long time and only 250 posts?? Blogging is fun but it is definitely also hard work 🙂
As for other things that happened to me this week:
Am just dying to have a vacation! The beach is calling me and it doesn’t even have to be a beach, am just aching to travel. I am green with envy everytime my friends come from their vacations. I realized that I have been so ensconced in my routines that I have forgotten to take a break. Some of the places I have in mind: San Juan, Batangas; Bora (of course) or even the second rate Puerto Galera (haven’t been there); Batanes (because March and April are the best times to go there) and even the seemingly boring Vigan, Ilocos Sur. On the other hand, would also like to go to Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea since I haven’t been to these places as well. I know, I know.. all it takes is motivation, planning and some bucks to make ’em come true and my time table is s-o-o-n.
Can’t get enough of Breadtalk. I’ve been on a Breadtalk mode the whole week and as what usually happens when am addicted to something, I have to eat the darn thing everyday. I should have discovered this wonderful bakery earlier but I remember that the one in Glorietta always had long lines. Now at least the branch in Robinson’s Manila near my workplace is not so filled to the rafters, maybe it’s also because the price doesn’t come cheap. I dare not go to Breadtalk and compare their bestselling floss (priced at almost a dollar) with our hot pan de sal, which is yummy with Reno, matamis na bao, peanut butter or any other humble man’s palaman of your choice and costs only two pesos! But the Singaporean chain has certainly changed the way I look at bread with the way they have innovated the fillings and such (imagine curry, teriyaki and sisig flavors.) I also like the bright, contemporary ambiance and the fact that we can see the bakers doing their thing . My target now is to taste all their offerings. Does it mean: goodbye rice, hello bread? With the Lenten Season fast approaching, I sure hope so 🙂
‘Brokeback Mountain’ left me in a daze. More in my next post.

Ajay, didn’t you know that before the Brokeback Mountain movie came out there was the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid…eheheh…lol. It sure gets lonely up in ’em
mountains. It’s either your pardner or ’em cattles. I saw the Brokeback Mountain already but I like the movie Crash better. I think the Crash is going to be the spoiler in the Oscar Academy for the best movie. Because for some reason the Hollywood movie
vip’s always sway to a lesser known watched and money making movie.

Unfortunately, I didn’t watch Butch Cassidy Mr. A but I could retrieve a copy for viewing one of these days:grin: Hmm, would be excited to see the results as the Oscars is ongoing now as we speak…

Ajay, it’s official Crash beat Brokeback Mountain for the best movie of the year. Didn’t I tell you Crash is going to win the best movie because the movie has more saying in the humans point of view. It’s more diverse than Brokeback Mountain. And if you have the chance to watch the Crash you’ll see what I mean.

i can’t imagine having 250 posts in two years, that means that every month, you’d have to post like 10 posts. some months, i only put up 3 posts.
