Thank you all for participating in my year end planner giveaway contest, and sorry for the little delay in announcing the winners. Truly, I was overwhelmed by the response and if you read the answers in the announcement blog post, your ideas on how to be a better person for 2011 were truly inspiring. As a bonus, I added one more BDJ power planner for a total of three BDJs to be won, plus of course the two Navi 2011s and two Campus BDJs.
So yeah, here are the lucky peeps. Please get in touch with me via email as soon as possible on where I can have your planner shipped. Here’s hoping none among you live as far as Tawi-tawi as that means I’ll have to spend more on courier fees, LOL. A Happy New Year everyone and thanks again for joining!:)
Belle de Jour Power Planner winners who were chosen via random.org –
1. Aya who said that “In 2011, I resolve to make less goals and envision more dreams.
2010 taught me not to rely on my strength alone but heed to God’s will. I wanted to lose 15lbs to be sexier but God didn’t do that. Instead, he took all the dead weight in my life which made me feel lighter and more beautiful even with 15lbs intact.
To bring to life my New Year’s resolution, I will start and end my day in prayer. I will talk less and listen more. God’s message most often that not come in a subtle faint whisper. Thus, I will make time for a “quiet time” everyday. When one is in God’s path, I believe everything else will fall into place effortlessly and in style.”
2. Ivy Belle Tiongco shares: ” My 2011 new year resolution is quite different from my resolutions in the previous years. Maybe because it’s not just about quitting this and giving up that. Now it’s about being able to help my mom and dad in every single way that I can. Be it financially, physically, emotionally, whatever. Being an only child, I was always close to my parents and after graduating this year, I feel like its about time that I’m the one who’s taking care of them as I think they’ve already done enough for me.”
3. Zee says: “2011 will be my SSS year 🙂 I will be slim. I will be sexy ;p + I will save.
Hitting 3 birds with one stone ang drama! I will cook my own food (made from scratch, and made of organic/healthy ingredients as much as possible), bring it to the office for my baon para maka-pagtipid narin ako ng money. Seems simple pero I know I’ll need to really stick to my plan to reach my goals. Turo nga ni Mama Oprah na you should be wise with your money and “You should never be a shlumpadinka!” 🙂
The Navi 2011 planner winners are:
Alma Si – “I want to go to Bangkok and Vietnam, and learn about their farming techniques. I’m a back-to-school single mom and this Navi journal would be great to help me manage my back-to-school status and the other roles that I live – mom, daughter, sister, cousin, community service and more.”
Lea Ducay – “I want to visit Batanes because I want to experience the province’s rusticity. Some of my friends have already been there and they keep on gushing about its physical beauty and its people – the Ivatans- and their honest and spartan ways. I think that living in the city for the about 25 years has made me jaded. I believe that visiting Batanes and being with the Ivatans might help me become less indifferent.”
And finally, for the Campus BDJ, we have two winners:
Isabella Quijano – Having graduated at a catholic school where the teachers remind you of your tasks almost everytime you meet them, gets your tasks accomplished as soon as possible but now that I’m in college, with your messy timetables and free periods all over the place, assignments, projects and plates to do from one subject to another, requirement deadlines ranging from the end of the term to the next few days, It could make someone really crazy. Not to mention those sweet sixteen parties and debut invitations your relatives and friends have been thrusting at your hands, the numerous “I miss high school, let’s all hang out” texts you recieve from your old schoolmates. With the Campus Belle du Jour planner, I’m hoping I can accomplish these tasks by neatly putting my schoolwork down and at the same time keep those non-schoolwork data in mind too.”
DaeaSR – The Campus BDJ would be very nice. Having it the whole year of 2011 would truly make my year more organized, in doing so, I hope to do more! Join in more activities, bond with family with more time, enjoy and interact with more friends, and live life more to the fullest! I’d like to be a beauty & brains bella, but quite shy in years, the Campus BDJ would just be perfect!”
Again, congratulations ladies!:)
