It’s the time of the year again…the time when I and 10 million other gay friends in the Philippines train our eyes on a bevy of world-class beauties the Philippines has to offer 🙂 Unfortunately, I will be out of town and won’t be able to watch live the Bb. Pilipinas 2015 Grand Coronation Night as it unfolds this Sunday, March 15, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. So the best I can give you is come up with our fearless forecast for the Top 10 candidates who will make the cut, based on our bolang kristal with 95% accuracy so far, haha.
Take note that there will be five major titles at stake. These are for Miss Universe Philippines 2015, Binibining Pilipinas-International 2015, Binibining Pilipinas-Intercontinental 2015 , Binibining Pilipinas-Supranational 2015, Binibining Pilipinas-Tourism 2015. There will also be two runner-up winners as well. So without further adieu, here’s who we think will make the Top 7:
No. 10, Pia Wurtzbach from Cagayan de Oro City. Since she’s 25 already, this should be Pia’s last shot at the pageant. It’s now or never. She almost made it in 2013 with 1st runner-up honors and she tried again in 2014, but unfortunately made it only to the Top 15.
No. 11, Janicel Lubina. This 19-year old beauty from palawan previously competed in Miss Scuba International (since she’s a diver) and in 2013 won Miss Bikini Philippines.
No. 19, Christi Lynn MacGarry of Camarines Sur already has many titles under her belt. This includes making it to Top 15 & being named Queen of Asia & the Pacific in Miss Intercontinental 2010. She was also in the Top 15 of Top Model of the World 2010. Her experience will certainly make her a top contender for Bb. Pilipinas 2015.
No. 21, Alaiza Flor Malinao of Davao del Sur. Though she’s worked as a professional model, the 21-year old Alaiza hasn’t really joined the major pageants but the fact that she’s in some people’s Top 5 or Top 10 list for Bb. Pilipinas 2015 makes her a force to reckon with.
No. 24, Ann Lorraine Colis of Mexico, Pampanga
No. 28, Hannah Ruth Sison of Oas, Albay. Another returning candidate who was named 2nd runner-up in Bb. Pilipinas 2014.
No. 34, Teresita Ssen Marquez. A beauty pageant virgin, we wrote about Teresita’s potential to bag the crown in this post.
