Yes, the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Grand Coronation Night is on March 30 yet but the beauty spotters of this blog are just brimming with excitement. We can’t wait to announce who will be the top contenders that will sizzle and dazzle on D Day. So far our batting average in previous pageants has been at 85% accuracy (90% even). As in previous years, annalyn.net will be there at Smart Araneta Coliseum to watch the pageant live and hobnob with the beauties 😉
Our top picks this year are a mixture of new faces, comebacking contestants and those with beauty pedigrees (e.g. have siblings/relatives who have won Bb. Pilipinas before).
Here’s the first installment of our fearless forecast, our Top 6 Picks:
Kris Tiffany Janson – 24 year old from Cebu. She works as a finance analyst and joined Binibini because it’s her late father’s wish for her to do so.
Mary Anne Bianca Guidotti is also 24 and towers at 5’10”. She holds an international relations degree from Ateneo de Manila University & speaks fluent Portueguese, English & Filipino.
Yvette Marie Santiago, 20, is a Certified Public Accountant who also won World Miss University in South Korea where she studied.
Now our Top Six includes three comebacking Binibinis whose failure to land a major beauty title in the past year(s) hasn’t daunted them. And we agree…because they’re looking better than ever!
Pia Wurtzbach from Cagayan de Oro won 1st runner up in Bb. Pilipinas 2013 and is strongly gunning for a major title this year.
Parul Shah, 25, is expected to wow judges with her exotic looks, being of mixed Indian-Filipino lineage. She is also fluent in five languages, among them Hindi and Arabic.
Mary Jean Lastimosa, the 26 year old from North Cotabato is a pageant veteran. Her motto may as well be “never say never!” We wish her luck this year!
annalyn.net will come out with its full line-up of Top Picks as the pageant nears. In the meantime, watch out for these girls!
