It was Barby Paragas (not Barbie Palagos) which President Noy (P-noy) , the country’s most eligible bachelor, dated last Saturday at the Nuvo Restaurant in Greenbelt, Makati City. The mystery date became fodder of much speculation because it came on the heels of a rumored split between the President and his girlfriend of two years, lovely Councilor Shalani Soledad of Valenzuela City.
Insiders said the 31-year old Barby is as pretty as Shalani. If she is the same Barby Paragas that shows up in an internet search of the professional network LinkedIn, indications are she is very brainy as well.
There is no Facebook profile of Ms. Paragas, but her LinkedIn resume puts her as having a civil engineering degree from Dela Salle University (Class of 2001) and a Masters in Civil Engineering (Major in Transportation Engineering) from the University of the Philippines. Her work deals with human resource management and she is the general manager of her own company, HRSolutions Global Inc. Those who know her describe her as simple and down-to-earth and yes, very private.

Yes. She is the same Barby Paragas. She is a family friend. her Mom is Baby Ang, of Chinese descent. Her family resides in Novaliches, Quezon City but they have a place at San Pascual St., Malate, Manila. She studied elementary and High School at Colegio de Santa Rosa, Intramuros, Manila..

I just have to ask, why of all the pictures you saw of this lady (the one on Linked-in included), it is the one above that you had to post??? This picture was obviously taken from a fashion show the lady was modeling for and you make it sound like this is her normal daily get-up.

If you can find me a picture that YOU like, do send me and that would be appreciated 😉 Even so, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the picture.
