Sorry, I don't have the figures on how many Koreans are there right now in the Philippines. All I know is that they are everywhere!! (and am not exactly complaining because after all, we are supposed to exercise tolerance towards other races). They are omnipresent, especially where I live and work. Manila may as well be christened Koreatown. Is it good or bad? You tell me. I can just give you the signs on why Koreans are invading our world: 1. You begin to greet your cellphone callers with "Yo-bo-se-yo!" (and you're not even a rapper :P) 2. Your good morning/good ... Continue Reading...
Manila’s best beef hofan is at the Malate Tea House
beef hofan When it comes to the yummiest eats in town, my Filipino-Chinese ('tsinoy') friends are the authority and I always rely on them for the ultimate lowdown on where to go and what to order, especially when it comes to their cuisine. And that is how I came to embark on my Resto Discovery of the Week, a very unassuming place near where I live and work, simply named Malate Tea House. Japanese chocolates simply does it for me when reawakening my taste buds for the delightfully indulgent. But I ... Continue Reading...

I have been happily married since this happened, I have not seen 'Ron' for a very long time. I am not writing to correct anything nor air my side but I just want to know how are you related to 'Ron' since you mentioned you know him. ... Continue Reading...

Greenpeace states that with Vista, " more companies and individuals may feel the need to replace their existing computers sooner as these become incompatible with the new operating system. The result:massive volumes of computer scrap in dirty recycling yards and dumpsites in the Philippines, Thailand, and in other Asian ... Continue Reading...
