Echoz! ... A Valentine Meal for My Sweet, Year 2
This post is rather late, I know. After the deep appreciation for last year's A Valentine Meal for My Sweet, it seems hubby now wants it to be an annual affair. I can't complain, as planning for the V-day's little feast always brings out my resourcefulness and creativity. It has been a busy month though. After getting wed, spending our honeymoon, travelling, going back to work and suffering from a car breakdown on the first week back, it seemed practical to focus on easy-to-prepare meals such as these ones ( I even forgot to prepare the soup). Here's to you, Mah ... Continue Reading...
Planning a wedding online (Blog-O-Rama)
Hubby and I have a nifty picture in today's issue of my blogging column in the Manila Bulletin. I've come back to writing it after an absence of three weeks!! Good thing my editor forgives me. The caption reads: " A love that was Made in the Internet, and a wedding that was made possible by the Wonders of the Internet." :D I thought this was apt for my article entitled Planning a Wedding Online which is what happens when you can't be physically present in a given place every single frickin' time. In this digital age, this is the easiest way to do it. Complete ... Continue Reading...
Ozeano Fusion Restaurant and our wedding reception at Manila Ocean Park
Manila Ocean Park is one of the city's latest tourist attractions. When I visited it with the family sometime last year, I knew that we just had to have our wedding pictorial there. I was amazed with the see-through walkway tunnel where you can view the fishes swimming in their full splendor. To my mind, it was simply one of the scenic places to have a picture for posterity with your loved one. Here are some Ocean Park pics taken by our official wedding photographer: When it was time to lighten up, we chose to have a sweet moment with the Manila Ocean ... Continue Reading...
The budget bride’s guide to getting married: a salute to our wedding suppliers
For our wedding, I liked working on the budget given me by my then-groom-to-be. I was very much challenged with stretching every peso, without sacrificing the quality of the outcome. If we had all the money in the world to spend, it would have been so easy to scout for the most expensive wedding venue, priciest wedding videographer, or the tallest cake, but it wasn't meant to be that way. We wanted a small, intimate wedding, and we had to be "creative" with the people who would work behind the scenes to make our dream wedding come true. As a non-OC bride, it also ...
