Calling all amateur cooks. Now’s your time to shine and be part of MasterChef Asia, a 15-episode reality cooking show which will film in Singapore under the stewardship of Endemol Southeast Asia and debut in the Lifetime Channel later this year.
Who are eligible: individuals at least 18 years old with a passion for cooking, with no prior culinary professional or teaching experience. Applicants are encouraged to submit a five minute audition video and upload this in public mode on Youtube. The competition is presented by the Singapore Tourism Board and Knorr, in association with Panasonic and Changi Airport Group.
MasterChef Asia is open to the citizens or applicants of the following countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Myanmar, Brunei, Cambodia, and Laos.
Lifetime Channel is the exclusive Pay TV home in Asia for MasterChef versions from Australia, New Zealand and Canada. In the Philippines, Lifetime is available on Cable Link Ch 223, Destiny Cable Ch 44 (Analogue) Ch 65 (Digital), Dream Satellite TV Ch 28, SKYCable SD Ch 65 and HD Ch 199, and other select provincial channels.
