Heart Evangelista is one of those actresses people admire not only for her talent and beauty, but also for her classic, effortless style. We don’t really remember her looking tacky in any outfit, or become a fashion victim.
And yet in an interview, Heart said there are days when she feels “ugly” and relies on a fashion item to lift up her mood. “This is because you never know if you will bump into your ex or whoever. You never want to look frumpy,” she candidly answers.
If you’ve ever dreamed of being styled by Heart Evangelista herself, this is your chance because Heart was truly hands-on in selecting the pieces that will go into the ATC Stylist’s Closet happening from April 12 to 15 at the Alabang Town Center (yes, that’s four days only).
For this endeavor, Heart teamed up with stylist to the stars Kat Cruz-Villanueva in sharing their fashion imprints to ATC shoppers. The two had fun curating the collection which is laid out in the style of a high-end fashion boutique in ATC’s Activity Center.
There are five booths shoppers can go to. These are divided into Denim, Brights, Utilitarian, Checkered and Prints. Participating brands include DKNY, Anne Klein, Rustan’s Ladies Apparel, Mango, He By Mango, Marks & Spencer, Naturalizer, Hush Puppies, Sebago,
Florsheim, Urbanize, Vionic, World Balance, Aojo, Mujosh, Sunglass Haven, Vision Express, Apple & Eve, Bench, Royal Gem, Metro, Florsheim, Collezione C2, Plains & Prints, Folded & Hung, Kamiseta, Maldita, Great Kids, Jockey, and Vise Versa.
Kat Villanueva’s personal favorite from the ATC Stylist’s Closet is the mixed prints section.
“Pair a bright floral top with striped loose pants; put on a fancy pair of sparkly embellished wedge sandals; wear your cool micro sunglasses; finish the look with chandelier earrings; and you’re ready for the summer!,” she advises.
She noted that one basic rule in dressing up is to observe proportion. For example, when you’re already wearing a loose top, complement this with form-fitting pants or skirt to flatter your shape.
“Kat and Heart are It Girls who know their fashion and so we’re proud to partner with them for this year’s ATC Stylist’s Closet. This is also our way of making shopping more exciting and collaborative for Alabang Town Center shoppers,” noted ATC marketing manager Christine Enriquez-Yabao.
This blogger did her own shopping at ATC Stylist’s Closet and I liked the fact that there’s a variety of stylish choices under one roof. I didn’t have to go from store to store. Of course, there’s also the trust factor that the items were curated by two top-caliber ladies. And the most surprising thing, there were really affordable items. For a little more than P3,000, I was able to get four pieces for me and my kids. Truly worth checking out! 🙂
