The pool looked gorgeous too.
In short, we ended up checking in at Eagle Point Batangas on this impromptu trip. This standard room with two single beds cost P4,500 with free buffet breakfast for two which was decent enough considering how other lodgings (even substandard ones) raised their prices for the Holy Week.
Actually, the lady at reception said that I should get an extra bed. But I insisted that two skinny teens and a toddler can actually fit in those. We ended up joining the single beds for the night 😉
The bathroom was really spacious too. There was soap and shampoo but I found it weird that there was no toothbrush and toothpaste. When I inquired about this, they told me that I can buy those in the souvenir shop next door. Thumbs down.
Wifi was sold at a luxury as well. P100 for 2 hours and P500 for the whole day. Ugh. In this age of data and portable internet connection, they shouldn’t be doing that. I found out that my Globe wifi stick was working so…. hurray! 🙂
I thought that the pool with the slide was really the best suit for this resort. The kiddies didn’t seem to get tired swimming here.We settled with the pool because the beach looked crap. It was rocky and no sight of a beach front at all, haha.
