Time, precious time. In this past year, I’ve totally flopped at replying to emails, remembering my friends’ birthdays and also failed in the following: returning comments, bloghopping, updating my links list, showing up in meet-ups and carrying a decent conversation with faraway friends on YM. Am still perenially late. So go ahead, crucify me. I need time… the time to (perhaps) find myself.
A new blog design. This baby is ripe for a new look and am itching for one. Will probably have to channel some of the $$$ that blogging bought to a much-needed make-over. Hmm, maybe next year (!!)
A ticket to somewhere. My wanderlust is far from waning, especially now that I’ve discovered the joys of budget travel. I want to visit Toe in Cambodia, go to Luang Prabang, eat pho in Vietnam and heck, even play with the monkeys in Bohol. I got tired of travelling in 2006 but hopefully will regain strength in 2007. Bring it on!
Apple MacBook in white with Intel Core Duo. Am a writer and wanna try being a Mac user. No need to say more.
Maid for keeps. Corollary to a boyfriend for keeps. Preferably someone who’s not addicted to texting and strange boys who befriend her on the telephone. Also not too addicted to the television as she might not notice it when the house is burning. Visayan diction forgivable as long as can understand basic Math and English . Excellent culinary skills not necessary (as I’d like to diet!) but at least can whip up an edible pancake. Loves kids.
Jeans, jeans, jeans. I’d like to buy a new pair with the skinny thing in vogue and saw these ones. But my waistline and hips are hideous that I prefer buying them myself..bleech
PJs/pajamas/pyjamas. I am presently obsessed with collecting pajamas and feel compelled to buy them more than dresses or skirts. I just need to wear them to sleep and walk with them around the house on lazy days. Weird? yeah.
Magazines, new and not-so-new. For now, I’ve given up on reading books, or rather reading books has given up on my crazy sked. So I prefer browsing through magazines since it’s much easier to do – from local fashion bible Preview to my all-time favorite Vanity fair.
The idiot!box I am going to get me a teevee this Christmas simply because I’ve put off buying one for myself for so long (read: in my whole lifetime). Objective is to at least be movie – and TV show-literate and join in the conversation of like-minded (idiocy-induced) individuals.
Gadgets galore. This blogger presently has this computer, an iPod, a BenQ digicam, the Nokia 6280 and the blessing of testing review units regularly. The trouble with gadgets is that you get tired of them after some time and will almost always want to upgrade to the next one. Did I say gadgets are bad investments to make considering the speed in which they depreciate? But we bow to them nonetheless at the risk of being left behind by technology which changes by the minute. Sony Playstation 3, here we come.
Passport to try out a new restaurant. As a sometime-journalist, I’ve always thought that life would be better if – instead of giving out those dowdy canvas bags, mundane notebooks and so Taiwanesque (:P) ballpen-doubling as radios- publicists gave out gift checks to restaurants. For as long as the restos are hip and trendy and not something like.. Cabalen.
Spa experience. Or better yet, why not a visit to a spa? Nothing can go wrong with a massage. Except when you get a broken bone. Duh.

As for your first wish and you saying that you didn’t have time to bloghop this year, all I can say is that I want to thank you and Noemi because you were the first ones ever to visit my blog, outside my family. 🙂 I really really appreciate that.

Well in the traditional kampungs in Malaysia they had massage to cure broken bones… the result was perfect healed bones, so perfect that you couldnt even detect by X-ray that the bones was ever broken..:-), well that is what they told me;-)
