A few Sundays ago, we were invited to a baptismal party at the legendary Aristocrat Restaurant in Roxas Boulevard. It was something new to me because I’ve only thought of Aristocrat as an eating place. An unfair impression, I know, as the resto is reasonably huge. It can very well host weddings, debuts, baptismals, birthdays , reunions and other special events that Filipinos are so fond of 🙂
The Engracia Halls (name for the functions rooms) were already full when we arrived. It was festooned with all sorts of colorful balloons and decorations for the warm welcome to the Christian world of a cute baby named Kai Anara.
The buffet table of Aristocrat specialty dishes – among them mechado and chicken bbq – was set up in the middle of the room, manned by attentive waiters. But what really caught my eye was the dessert buffet of yummy-looking cupcakes with various frostings to delight the kids.
Lucia seemed excited!
Mmmm, this caramel cake was addicting. If you haven’t tried the other Aristocrat bestseller – my all-time fave chocolate sans rival called Torta de los Reyes – that’s really tantamount to missing half of your life!
A baptismal party in Aristocrat good for 50 persons starts at P32,250. It already includes a 9 x 13 size cake, party host, invitations, balloons, decor, centerpieces and other freebies. Of course, the complete dining setup is included and parents can choose which party motif to adopt.
What’s good about the whole package is that you can choose to add a few more stuff to entertain your guests, specially the kids. There was a cupcake decorating activity –
There was also a roving photo booth where your souvenir pics of the party are printed in a flash. Lucia had fun being made up in the kiddie salon…
It was her first time to put on blush and lipstick. Looking lovely I must say 😉
Aristocrat baptismal party packages may be booked in the following branches: Roxas Boulevard; Jupiter St. Makati City; Subic Bay; Ultimart Shopping Plaza in San Pablo, Laguna; Banawe Quezon City; and S&R in Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City.
